Today I flipped the wing over so that it was right side up. Next I started to explore how I could install the root doubler and wing walk for drilling. I removed the clecos from the wing walk area and then I marked the 5/8 overhang onto the doubler for the left wing. I turned out easier to install the doubler and then measure the overhang. The doubler seemed long by about 1/4 inch. I’ll need to check the yahoo groups to see if this is the case. After I think I am ready to start marking and drilling the holes. Checking the plans indicates there will be excess.
Welcome to my builders log for Sonex S/N 767. It won't be as big as a real 767 but if you scale the speed I bet it will be almost as fast
