I started this the support plate by making a template. I traced the part onto drafting paper then glued it to some bristol board and cut it out. I traced out 2 parts and cut them out on the band saw. Next I sanded them using a small sanding drum in the drill press.
Welcome to my builders log for Sonex S/N 767. It won't be as big as a real 767 but if you scale the speed I bet it will be almost as fast
